Sit to Stand Challenge: Home Safety Services Meets it with Educational Video

The Santa Clara County Fall Prevention Task Force issued a “Sit to Stand Challenge” in support of National Fall Prevention Awareness Week. The challenge required participants to video tape themselves standing up from the seated position as many times as possible in a thirty second period. Home Safety Services President, Martin Simenc and his son took the challenge and the opportunity to create an educational piece that demonstrates ten of the most effective sit to stand assistive devices.
